 Leucorrhea PH reflects the PH of the vagina.

Under normal circumstances, there are a variety of microbes in the vagina, but because of the ecological balance between the vagina and these microbes, it does not cause disease. Lactobacillus, estrogen and ph play important roles in maintaining vaginal ecological balance. Under physiological conditions, estrogen makes the vaginal epithelium hyperplasia and thickening, and increases the glycogen content in the cells. The vaginal epithelium decomposes glycogen into monosaccharides, and Lactobacillus vaginalis converts monosaccharides into lactic acid to maintain the normal acidic environment of the vagina.

Normal vagina is acidic environment, PH value is less than or equal to 4.5, mostly between 3.8 and 4.4, can inhibit the growth of other pathogens

How to  do the test?

1. Wash hands and dry them thoroughly.
2. Take out the test from the package .
3. The test has a easy to grip handle on one end and pH paper on the other.Don't let the end with the pH paper touch anything before using.
4. Hold  the handle of the test between your thumb and forefinger
5. Choose either of these postitions:Sit with kness spread apart or stand with the foot on the toliet  seat. 
6. With your free hand,gently spread apart the folds of skin at the vaginal opening.
7. Using cotton bud,Gently collect a small amount of fluid from the vagina and apply it on the strip
8. Be careful not to touch the pH paper to anying
9. After 30 seconds,compare to the color of the strip with the test chart
10. Read the results immediately
